Gladio

Full name: Gladiolus Amicitia Gladiolus Amicitia is called Gladio by his friends. He is 28 years old. He is 6'6" tall, broader and more heavily built than he was five years ago. His hair has grown out long and is now tied back, no longer shaved at the sides. He has amber eyes, a long scar that runs from over his left eye down to his jaw, and another scar that runs across his forehead (obtained during a battle with Gilgamesh), along with a fuller jaw beard than before. Gladiolus has a large tattoo of a bird of prey that covers his entire back and extends down his arms — the credential of the King's Shield for the male line of the Amicitia family, rather than a family crest, given when a member becomes one of the Shield. His father Clarus Amicitia (deceased) had the same tattoo Personality Notes Gladiolus is a cool and cheerful person with a blunt sense of humor and an indomitable will. He was the most outgoing of the four party members, and has been a fan of the great outdoors since he was young. He makes conversation easily and is flirtatious with most women he comes across (earning Prompto's ire), but is protective of his sister Iris. He freely expresses his opinions on what is necessary and acts as a pillar in ensuring that the team does not sway from their goal. He enjoys fighting and researching battle techniques, and exercises in his spare time. He loves to eat Cup Noodles. Backstory Backstory: Gladiolus's family has always served as protectors of the Lucian royal family, and he is the only party member with a military background. He acted not just as Noctis's sworn shield, but as his childhood battle mentor, and pushed Noctis to train hard to fulfill his kingly duties.
