If something here is out of date or unclear, say so — it is easier to fix a page than to answer the same question twice. What AiRP is covers the shorter version.
AiRP lets you write a story with a world and cast, then play a character in it while the AI takes the other roles.
No. You can browse stories and creator pages without an account. To play or publish, you'll need to sign up and confirm your email before your first scene.
A story has a setting and a cast. A character is one person in that story.
Create an account, make a Star (the character you'll play), then choose a story.
You can start without paying. You get 50 free credits each day—enough for up to 50 premium generations—and can earn or buy more when you need them.
Credits are the currency we use in AiRP. Create an account and you'll get 50 free credits each day, resetting at midnight UTC; unused daily credits don't carry over. You can earn more by connecting Discord, publishing public stories, and receiving favourites or qualifying comments from other readers on your stories. Story, favourite, and comment rewards are credited when you return the next day or later, as long as they still qualify. Open the Credits page to see the earning options, rewards, and limits.
Credits pay for AI replies. You get some each day, can earn them when people play your stories, or buy more.
Yes. You get free credits daily and can earn more when people interact with your stories.
A membership gives you 150 premium credits every day, banking up to 525, plus 500 permanent credits the first time you join. Use them on any premium model you want. Together with the 50 free daily credits, that's 4× the daily credits of a free account. One discounted model rotates every month; priority queues and profile options are planned for later.
Your chat stays there. You can continue when your free credits refresh tomorrow or buy more.
Start with the default, MiniMax M3, and switch if you want a different style. The model picker shows the credit cost for each option; Claude costs more, while GLM and DeepSeek sit in the middle.
Yes. You can switch models whenever you like, even in the middle of a scene.
Models have different running costs, so their credit prices differ too.
Older turns eventually leave the model's context. AiRP summarizes them into memories, and you can edit or add memories yourself.
Yes. Open the Context gauge under the chat and switch it from Standard (32k) to Extended (64k), which keeps about twice as much of the conversation in view. It costs nothing extra until the chat grows past 32k; from then on each reply costs double the model's usual price. Switch back to Standard at any time to return to the normal price. Some models only support Standard.
Stories with sexual content need an 18+ label. An 18+ story cannot include children or underage-looking characters. Bestiality, blood incest, nude images, hate speech, content targeting protected groups, pictures of real people, and stolen work are not allowed. See the Rules page for the full wording.
They're hidden by default. Adults can choose to show them in Settings.
Yes. Go to Settings to hide tags or tell us which ones you'd like to see more often.
Use the report button on a story, message, or image. We review reports and address them within 24 hours.
Write the kind of story you want to play yourself. Give readers a clear opening and room to make choices.
Yes. You can import Character Card V1 or V2 files and export your stories as V2 cards.
Yes. Export one story or all of them as Character Card V2 files.
Your chats are private. If you report a message, that message is sent to moderators for review.
No. We don't sell your information or use it for training, and we choose models that don't train on your chats.
You can delete your account in Settings. Your other data is deleted, while published stories may remain available to people who already started them; new players can't start them.
